horizont 9 V 55 Ah zinc carbon battery - Turbomax® SB55

There are two different battery designs. One is alkaline batteries (so called air-oxygen batteries) and the other is zinc-carbon batteries. Both battery types supplied by horizont are mercury and cadmium free and therefore very environmentally friendly.
Zinc carbon battery (9V):
The voltage curve of the zinc-carbon batteries is distributed steadily decreasing over the lifetime. From a battery voltage of approx. 5.5 V, batteries are empty and must be replaced. Less powerfu devices are operated with a zinc-carbon battery. The steady voltage drop does not affect the important herding voltage in the fence when power requirements are low.

- Tip: batteries cannot be recharged: if your battery has a voltage of 5.5 V, it is empty and should be discarded - any horizont battery can be stored for up to two years without any significant loss of capacity
- Info: The best before date is stamped on the top of the battery case
- horizont Electric fencers are equipped with a control indicator that reminds the user in time to replace the battery
- The battery and battery runtimes are specified with the devices. The replacement intervals are therefore specified
